Objective of Game

The objective of lacrosse is to score goals and beat the team you are playing. The game starts with the ball at midfield placed on the ground. One midfielder from each team is facing the ball both on opposite sides. When the whistle is blown they fight for the ball using their body and sticks. This is called a face-off. The midfielder moves the ball around to the other players and the defensive payers try to stop them from scoring. In the college level there are 4 quarters of playing time each quarter consists of 15 minutes. Whichever team has the most goals by the end of the game wins.
